Makersite rebrands SiGREEN to Mattermaps, advancing trusted carbon data exchange

Makersite has announced that its supply chain data exchange platform, SiGREEN, will operate under the new name Mattermaps, following its acquisition from Siemens AG.

For Together for Sustainability (TfS) members, the platform remains a key enabler of trusted, interoperable carbon data exchange across global value chains, with full continuity and a clear ambition to scale.

Seamless continuity for users
The transition is designed to be seamless: users retain uninterrupted access with no changes to service, data access, or security standards.

Mattermaps continues as a standalone platform supporting collaboration between buyers, suppliers, and industry initiatives. It enables multi-network integration, including TfS, Catena-X, and PACT – ensuring ongoing exchange of Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data while maintaining interoperability across ecosystems.

Supporting the next phase of Scope 3 exchange
As supply chain decarbonisation accelerates, consistent, high-quality product data becomes critical. Mattermaps supports this by enabling companies to:

  • Exchange product-level emissions data securely
  • Reduce friction in supplier data exchange
  • Improve transparency and comparability of PCF data
  • Scale Scope 3 reporting and supplier engagement

The platform helps organisations meet growing regulatory and market expectations while maintaining high standards of data security, privacy, and trust.

Driving collaboration across networks
Mattermaps continues SiGREEN’s role as a multi-network platform, reducing fragmentation and improving collaboration across initiatives such as TfS, Catena-X, and PACT.

Looking ahead
Makersite aims to evolve Mattermaps into a global product data exchange, leveraging AI to enhance data quality and usability. For TfS, this reinforces the importance of trusted digital solutions in scaling Scope 3 decarbonisation and enabling consistent PCF data exchange.
