Beyond procurement, Together for Sustainability (TfS) plays an important role in realising our members’ Corporate Social Responsibility objectives and in minimising risks associated with sustainability requirements. As membership increases, our network of Assessed and Audited suppliers shared across membership also increases – benefiting us all.
Criteria for membership
Committed to the principles of Responsible Care® and supportive of the UN Global Compact
TfS membership is open to chemical companies committed to the principles of Responsible Care® and the UN Global Compact. TfS members practice what they preach – a condition of membership is to achieve a satisfactory Assessment score.

Member pledge
TfS is a member-driven initiative and, as such, requires commitment from its members and their leadership.
A representative from each member is expected to contribute to the development, growth and success of TfS by actively participating in our Work Streams and decision-making bodies. They also commit to implement TfS within their company, actively reaching out to suppliers and conducting a defined number of Assessments, Audits and consequent improvements per year.
